With
many years of experience in the department of Justice, (serving as
public prosecutor and magistrate), and municipalities across South
Africa, our specialist has vast experience in dealing with liquor law
and the community issues relating to liquor consumption.
Being
a stakeholder in the development of the present Western Cape Liquor
Act, 1998, as amended, he has particular knowledge of the application
processes and administration of the Act and Regulations.
He
has recently assisted the Municipalities of Drakenstein and Saldanha
Bay with the drafting of their by-laws relating to trading hours as
provided for in section 59 of the Act.
His
ability to speak Xhosa fluently has been a valuable asset, especially
in the field of training, communication and public participation.
